Dr. Fischer grew up in the countryside of Brazil, a region famous for its barbecue and chimarrão, and has loved animals since rescuing her first dog at age five.
She earned her veterinary degree from Universidade Federal de Santa Maria in 2022 and has since validated her degree in the U.S. Her professional interests include soft tissue surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and a special fondness for shelter medicine.
She and her husband, Juan, share their home with two cats: Prisma Rafaela, a rescued stray from her college days, and Jupiter Delilah, their talkative Texan sweetheart. Outside the clinic, Dr. Fischer enjoys volleyball, roller skating, gardening, 3D puzzles— and every now and then, impressing friends with her axe-throwing skills.
